SmartForms: Real Estate Jargon Explained

Real Estate as an industry is already confusing. Numerous acronyms, nicknames and complex rules means we are often speaking what can seems like a foreign language. 



Once you add in the additional layer of “techie” speak, there’s no chance that it’s going to be easy to decode what everyone is talking about (not to mention your average speed-speaking agent or mumbling  to overcomplicate things as well!). 

One of the newest layers of technology used within the real estate space is the Smartform. They are great for: 
- saving you time
- managing your contacts
- generating your offers
... and basically everything a successful agent needs! But, what are they?!


Here at ReNet, we use “Smartforms” as a generic term for complex web-based, lead capture landing pages (like... forms?! 🤔) which we have built that intuitively link back into your CRM.

A great (and relatively simple) example of this is our Check-In Smartform. Using a QR code, your buyers can scan and enter their details when they attend an inspection. These details will automatically save within your database as an attendee. It’s totally hands-off for every agent - freeing you up to spend your time meeting and chatting with buyers, instead of typing into an iPad.

That sounds great and super useful, right? But WAIT! It keeps going...

After you’ve captured their details, you can automate what happens next. Perhaps a 'Thank you for attending' email or sms message is sent to all attendees, to generate offers.
